The company was Founded as a partnership between Francesco Dini and Roberta Romiti, founders of Dini Romiti Consulting a leading public affairs firm based in Rome, and Leonardo Lorusso and Folco Ciulli, experts in European affairs. Our mission is to provide clients with an integrated approach to institutional relations, supporting them at every stage of the policymaking process, from European institutions to national decision-makers.
Francesco
Dini
After acquiring over thirty years of experience in the fields of institutional relations, communications and M&A, Dini founded Dini Romiti Consulting in August 2020. Within the GEDI Group, He sits on the board of GEDI SpA and GEDI News Network (La Repubblica, La Stampa and local newspapers) and serves as Vice President of Elemedia (a radio company that manages the business of three national broadcasters, Radio Deejay, Radio Capital and m2o Radio). He is President of U.S. Cremonese. He is Vice President of FIEG and President of its newspaper division (Italian Federation of Newspaper Publishers), as well as a member of the board of directors of ANSA, Tavolo Editori Radio (TER), Accertamento Diffusione Stampa (ADS) and Audicom. Since 2006 he has been a member of the European Round Table of Industrialists (an organisation that provides an opportunity for companies to dialogue with the Commission and the European Parliament). He was Director of General Affairs of the CIR Group from March 2004 to August 2020 and Director of Institutional Relations of the CIR Group from 1999 to 2004 and before that worked in the Fininvest Group, which he joined in 1991, covering various roles in institutional relations for Mediaset, the Standa-Euromercato Group and Fininvest Comunicazioni. After studying at the classical high school, he graduated in Modern Letters at the University of Florence and obtained a Master in Managerial Development at the LUISS School of Management, where he also studied communication and public image.
Roberta
Romiti
After holding senior positions in institutional and regulatory affairs for over two decades in companies operating in various sectors, including energy, telecommunications, publishing, healthcare, and automotive, she founded Dini Romiti Consulting in 2020, where she currently serves as Managing Director. From 2017 to 2020, she was Head of Institutional Relations at CIR S.p.A. - a diversified industrial holding company active in sectors such as media, automotive, and healthcare - where she was responsible for managing relationships with the Italian Parliament, Government, regulatory authorities, and industry associations. From 2005 to 2017, she was appointed Head of Institutional Relations at Sorgenia S.p.A.. In that role, in addition to her responsibilities in public affairs, she was also in charge of relations with consumer associations and advocacy activities aimed at achieving the company’s objectives. She also coordinated and drafted protocols for Alternative Dispute Resolution, authored consumer protection manuals, and led coalition-building initiatives in support of electricity market liberalization. Earlier in her career, she worked at Enel Holding S.p.A. within the Regulatory and Institutional Affairs Division, and at Wind Telecomunicazioni S.p.A., where she handled legislative, regulatory, contractual matters and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She holds a Law degree from the University of Rome La Sapienza. At the beginning of her career, she completed her legal apprenticeship, gaining a strong legal foundation that has supported her professional activities throughout.
